About This Service
APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) registration is mandatory for exporters dealing in “Scheduled Products” like fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, and processed foods. The registration results in a Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC). It is essential for ensuring that food products meet international quality standards and for accessing financial assistance and subsidies provided by the government for agricultural exports.
Eligibility & Criteria
- Fees (Amended): ₹5,000 + 18% GST (for MSMEs); ₹10,000 + 18% GST (for Large Enterprises).
- Forms: Online application on the APEDA portal.
- Penalties: Exporting scheduled agricultural products without APEDA RCMC is a violation of the Foreign Trade Policy and can lead to the seizure of goods.
